Wild West Excursions embraces the region for the love of the entire environment we share 

with a emphasis on the 

miracle of nature.

The land, the water, the animals, 

fish, birds, livestock, wildlife, down to the insects that co-habit and enrich the land.

We want to share this beauty, 

our local experts and talents.

Our Guides have deep knowledge of the region,  combined with high country experience, farming and ranching, and the surrounding hidden gems in our backyard.  We're passionate about the high country and we're dedicated to providing our clients with the best possible service. 

We have a deep knowledge of the region around us and we're always on the lookout for new and exciting tour opportunities.

Allan has been a real Cowboy his entire life.

"Living in the saddle is a way of life for me".

Sharing this way of life is something Allan has done since his youth working on a dude ranch in Mancos and his family's ranch in Mancos.

Our cattle, rangeland and land management are intricate parts that we share to educate how everything works in tandem.

Rhed Leonard is a Minister of the Universal Life Church, and a practicing Naturopath Herbalist Hedgewitch of 35 years. 

She escaped the “rat race” 

and has spent the last 13 years 

in the 4 corners region growing 

and foraging food and medicine, 

and learning to benefit from the amazing healing qualities found here.

A life of service is a noble thing, but being your best self and showing up as a positive influence in the world requires you to love yourself as well.

 I am your arts and crafts teacher, your nature guide, your meditation host, your confidential ear… 

I am your safe space.

Our beautiful region has a unique and potent healing grace and power. I’d like to share my Nature aligned affirmations and meditations, and other rituals and activities that are designed to break through the noise of a life that expects too much.

As a longtime advocate for BLM lands 

and a dedicated educator, 

Michelle brings a unique perspective

 to our excursions. 

She'll introduce you to the fascinating world of the Ancient Puebloans

and share her expertise on the 

high country's stunning landscapes, share information about cattle ranching, the trees, nature, mountains, fishing and so much more.
