Wild West Excursions began as a simple vision to share our region with the visitors already coming here to visit Mesa Verde National Park and Canyon of the Ancients.

Sharing our food system became the focus as we are farmers and ranchers that love our land and the region around us.

Our Guides have deep knowledge of the region,  combined with high country experience, farming and ranching, and the surrounding hidden gems in our backyard.  We're passionate about the high country and we're dedicated to providing our clients with the best possible service.

As the head Cowboy and Wrangler, living in the saddle is a way of life for me and sharing this way of life is something I have done since my youth working on a dude ranch in Mancos.

Our cattle, rangeland and rangeland management are intricate parts that we share to educate how the food system works in tandem.
