Telluride Transient Rates (ParkingMeters)
Effective January 1, 2025:
Metered Parking
- Metered parking is available throughout the commercial core and surrounding streets. Meters are one per block and parking in metered zones are limited to a 3-hour maximum.
- Meter rates for the commercial core will increase to $2.50 per hour.
- Telluride Metered parking will be expanded to include:
- Columbia Avenue from Aspen to Willow
- Colorado Avenue from Davis to Aspen
- These zones will charge a rate of $2.00 per hour.
Parking at any on‐street meter in Telluride is $2.50/hour for a maximum stay up to three hours
and paid parking is posted as enforced from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM every day of the week.
Silverjack Parking Garage
- Silverjack Parking Garage is a covered parking garage located at 155 W. Pacific Avenue and is paid for by the hour. Payment must be made by scanning a QR code or texting a location code. Instructions are posted throughout the garage.

on top of accumulated hourly fees and paid parking is in effect at all times within the facility.
Carhenge Parking Lot
- Free all-day parking is available to commuters and visitors at the Carhenge Parking Lot located at 700 West Pacific Avenue.
- Carhenge Parking Lot is a 10-minute walk from downtown Telluride and is serviced by the regular Galloping Goose transit loop, which operates on a seasonal schedule.
Telluride Parking Fines
Currently, the Town of Telluride charges a single fine ($30.00) for most parking offenses.
The Town does escalate fines for repeat offenders who get more than four parking tickets
in a twelve‐month span, adding a $10.00 surcharge to the 5th ($40.00) and 6th ($50.00) tickets,
a $15.00 surcharge for the 7th ticket ($65.00),
and a flat rate of $100.00 per ticket for eight or more citations.
The Town assesses $50.00 fine for vehicles parking in the Centerlane without a permit,
a $60.00 fine for parking or abandonment of vehicle on a paved/improved roadway
or backing into a parking space which creates unsafe roadway conditions,
a $150.00 fine for parking to infringe on access to fire hydrant and/or fire house
and/or parking illegally during a major festival,
and a $300.00 fine for parking illegally at a charging station.
Based on the information provided, it does not appear the Town plans to change these fines in FY2025, although a $250.00 surcharge is proposed for application to vehicles which must be towed.

Parking Garage Fees and Locations
Gondola Parking Garage - Year Round
Located at 433 Mountain Village Blvd., behind Market Plaza and northwest of the gondola terminal station, there are a total of 460 spaces in this garage.
Winter parking rates effective November 28, 2024 through April 15, 2025:
- Monday through Thursday (6:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.): $10 per day
- Friday through Sunday (6:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.): $15 per day
- Seven days a week (4 p.m.-2 a.m.): free
- Overnight parking (2 a.m.-6:30 a.m.): $30
- Overnight parking for RV/Trailer: $60
South Village Center Parking - Year Round
Located at 113 Lost Creek Lane, off Mountain Village Boulevard and adjacent to the Blue Mesa condominium building, this lot has a total of 18 spaces.
- Monday through Thursday (6 a.m.- 6 p.m.): $5 per hour
- Friday through Sunday (6 a.m.- 6 p.m.): $10 per hour
- Seven days a week (6 p.m.-2 a.m.): free
North Village Center Parking - Year Round
Located at 636 Mountain Village Boulevard, off Mountain Village Boulevard, between the Shirana and Westermere buildings, this lot has a total of 25 spaces.
- Monday through Thursday (6a.m.- 6 p.m.): $5 per hour
- Friday through Sunday (6 a.m.- 6 p.m.): $10 per hour
- Seven days a week (6 p.m.-2 a.m.): free
- No overnight parking permitted (2 a.m.-6 a.m.)
Market Plaza Parking - Year Round
Located at 455 Mountain Village Boulevard and adjacent to the grocery and liquor store and post office, there are a total of 60 spaces in this lot, many of which are used short-term for businesses located within Market Plaza.
- Free one-hour parking
- No overnight parking, 2 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- Resident Permit holders may park along the rock wall for more than one hour after 3 p.m. only
Meadows Parking Lot -Winter
Located at the end of Adams Ranch Road in the Meadows neighborhood (308 Adams Ranch Road), this lot has a total of 110 spaces.
Winter parking rates effective November 28, 2024 through April 15, 2025:
- Monday through Thursday (6:30 a.m.- 8 p.m.): $10 per day
- Friday through Sunday (6:30 a.m.-8 p.m.): $15 per day
Heritage Parking Lot -Winter
Located at 568 Mountain Village Blvd.,
Heritage Parking Garage is located under the Madeline Hotel

- Monday through Thursday: $2 for first two hours; $4 per hour for each additional hour
- Friday through Sunday: $2 for first two hours; $8 per hour for each additional hour
Shirana Parking Lot -Short Term Parking - Year Round Rates
Located at 624 Mountain Village Boulevard across from The Peaks Resort & Spa, this lot has a total of 11 spaces.
- Free 30-minute parking.
- No overnight parking is allowed from 2 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- No person shall park a vehicle in a Town-regulated parking lot for a free period of time, exit the facility and reenter the facility, and park for a second free period of time within three hours of the first entry into the lot
