Our Black Angus Cattle herd are high country, summer mountain pasture raised, never any hormones or antibiotics, and finished at our local ranch in Cortez, dining on the highest quality irrigated grass pasture, drinking from live streams, and living the good life from the time they are born.
Natural Mountain Forage for Optimum Health
Once the cattle come off the high mountain pasture, they enjoy consuming healthy grass that never has had any artificial fertilizers, pesticides, or insecticides on it. They gain 2 to 3 pounds per day, while rotating into other pastures with natural forage for a good mixture of dried grasses and forage with high nutritional value, and fresh grass for the best possible finish.
